Much of the LA portion of my 10-day trip was uneventful. Internet World was a serious let down, with nothing revolutionary even creeping into the vicinity of the building. Steve and I did close out the trip in a perfectly memorable way, taking in a Marc Ford show at the Malibu Inn. Apparently Chris Robinson, Marc’s Black Crowes compadre, frequently joins him on stage for the gigs at the Inn. If you want to see members of well-known bands doing their own thing while you’re in the LA area, the Inn is one of the hidden hot spots everyone should check out.
