Have you ever noticed an image other than the white page with the blue Internet Explorer ‘e’ next to the address of the Web page you are visiting? The image displayed in that space is know as a favicon. You can make your own favicon by using an icon editor and then uploading the image to the root directory of your personal Web site; or you can use this site to automatically create a favicon from any image on your hard drive. Upload the image file; click the Generate Favicon.ico button; then save the resulting image to your hard drive. It’s that easy.
