Steven Page of Barenaked Ladies fame is currently touring the U.S. in promotion of his collaboration with Stephen Duffy, The Vanity Project. On 28 July 2005, Steven made an appearance at Easy Street Records on Mercer in Seattle, WA. His on stage performance lasted about 45 minutes, where he played a great mix of songs from both The Vanity Project and the extensive Barenaked Ladies catalog. This video documents that performance, complementing the backstage interview by The Chris Pirillo Show.
The audio quality is tremendous considering the source was the on-camera microphone from a Panasonic PV-GS150 DV cam. I intended to combine audio from my Edirol R-1 with the video from the camcorder and forgot the settings on the R-1 get reset when the battery gets changed. Consequently I ended up with some nasty clipping in places.
There are also a few places where I cut the video between tracks because the camera did some shoe gazing as I waited for feeling to come back to my hand after attempting to keep it still for 10-15 minutes at a time.

UPDATE 14 April 2024: The original video was 320×240 WMV. I recently tried out Topaz Video AI and used it to convert the file to 4K. The results are what you see in the embedded YouTube video here.
