When you playback analog video sources through your PC, a number of factors result in some really ugly video. In many instances, the video is improperly scaled and interlacing looks lousy on a computer monitor. Video noise further deteriorates the image quality. Timing issues like improperly converted frame rates often result in what’s know as judder (a rather jumpy image distortion).
