If you’re a Windows user, you can remotely connect from your iPhone or iPad back to your PC using a Remote Desktop Client on your iOS device. I’ve found several pay RDC clients that are awesome. Microsoft offers Windows App Mobile as a free alternative.

Some key features include:

  • Access your remote computers running Windows Professional, Enterprise and Windows Server.
  • Access managed resources
  • Use Remote Desktop Gateway to connect
  • Manage connections and credentials via the Connection Center, complete with Favorites to identify frequently used resources
  • Audio and video streaming to your iPhone or iPad
  • Redirect local resources including folders, clipboard, and local devices like microphone or camera
  • External monitor support for both iPhone and iPad
  • Entra account switching
  • Portrait and Landscape mode are both supported
