Roadtrip to see Sandhill Cranes

Every winter, Sandhill Cranes find their way to the Cosumnes River Preserve, which is off of Interstate 5 between Stockton and Sacramento in California. It’s pretty amazing to see them in flight here, along with the chance to witness thousands of Snow Geese taking flight in unison from nearby farm fields. I’ve made this trip two more times since recording this video and will likely find myself making the trip every few years as long as I live in California.
